Ex-sheriff's deputy arrested for lewd conduct with a minor
BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A man who served as a detention deputy for the Ada County Sheriff's office for nearly two decades has been arrested and charged with eight counts of lewd conduct with a minor and two charges of child sex abuse. Gerald Fairbanks worked for the Ada County Sheriff's department from 1992 to December of 2011. Fairbanks is being held in Mountain Home and his preliminary hearing is on January 30th.
